We had met some backpackers where we camped at halls ck. Whenwe saw them in town waiting for car repairs we decided to take them with us to Wolfe Creek Meteroite Crater. Their car had broken down on the way there. So we exchanged some of our back seat luggage for 2 extras.
There were 9 or 10 other campers at the crater both nights we were camped.
We hiked around the rim of the crater half way , then across the bottom back to the start. Silvie (french) and Ant(english) provided us some respite form each other.
