Derby
We crossed paths with the Malpass adventurers again in Derby. We visited another Prison Tree, this one not allowed to go near (Sacred Site)!
Nearby is the trough that is 120m ling the longest in the Sthn Hemisphere. The Derby wharf is a working wharf, but they allow vehicles to drive around it to fish until 5pm. No use we caught nothing here. Marion did attract the sand flies again. We all had overpriced fish & chips at the Wharf. The tides here are one of the biggest in Aust. from low at 1m to high at 11.5m. We stayed and watched it rush in. Pretty amazing.
