Kimberleys

This Boab tree near Whyndam confined prisoners on their way to town lock ups.
Chris caught this Silver catfish in the King River, about 9 kg.
This grotto is typical of the Kimberley landscape.

The Gibb River Rd, notice the Kalumburu section closed, when it was opened.
Our 1st camp at the pentecost river which was our 1st river crossing at about 450mm.
There were plenty of river /creek crossings. 2 barramundi caught from here.
